“Oak Grove Powerhouse/Three Lynx Community”

Of all the PGE sites, I have been most intrigued with the Oak Grove Powerhouse and Three Lynx Community. Not only were we given the unique opportunity to get a glimpse into the work lives of the powerhouse employees, but also a rare view into their families lives who, for generations, have been calling the housing community home. "Toys Sold Here" graced one of the windows in the community – I can't help but wonder what it would be like to grow up in such a remote area surrounded by never-ending adventures just waiting to be explored.
I have chosen to display my stereo images in toy-like viewers. This method gives the observer a more intimate view of each photo while the souvenir-like charm helps to bring a childhood perspective to the image.
