 14th Annual
Estacada Summer Celebration
July 25 & 26, 2014

The Estacada Summer Celebration takes place every year on the fourth weekend in July. It began in 2000 as a small celebration of the Artback artists’ painting of their annual "mural-in-a-weekend" project. Celebrating the new murals is still the main purpose of this festival, but it has grown every year. Starting on Friday night, Broadway street is closed and we bring you live music  on the big city stage.

Saturday morning brings fun activities for children with giant puppets, lots of live music, free hands-on art activities for children and adults, a silent art auction, lots of food vendors and the beautiful Broadway Street Art Fair.  It is an opportunity for residents and visitors to celebrate this wonderful community through the art.

This special weekend is  presented by the

The 24th Annual Quilt Show by the Garfield Skip-a-Week Quilt Group will be held at the First Baptist Church in Estacada - Friday & Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm. There will be door prizes, quilt raffles, refreshments, demonstrations, and sales.    Don't miss this great annual event.

The Summer Celebration began fourteen years ago when the newly formed Arts Commission recognized a need and an opportunity to celebrate the Artback’s rare and fascinating mural-in-a-weekend creation. All the ingredients were there to have an event; a large vacant lot, a new portable city stage, public art in the making - all we had to do was add people and music!

We have been able to keep the Celebration free to the community because of grant funding from the Regional Arts and Culture Council and the Clackamas County Cultural Coalition, which recognize the power of the arts to build community. We are grateful for their support and for generous donations from local businesses and individuals.

We are working year-round to raise funds to hold this wonderful community event, so if you feel you can help, please call, email, or just send a check to:
