“Mixed Memories”

Houses are so personal even long after families have moved. The small homes at Three Lynx still seem to have personality and memories that could have been part of my background. I could see my family in this community built by PGE. By now the house is blue and the blossoming tree planted with love long ago, is huge and flowering.
In my mind, I easily mix my family into this setting. Recently I came across a lot of photos long forgotten in my childhood home. With new eyes I looked at the relatives, people and surroundings from my childhood that was a mix of vividly remembered and unknown. I incorporated this mix into my painting knowing it could also represent your family from the forties.
